About Elizabeth Parashis

Elizabeth Parashis

Born into an encouraging family has kept my natural bent for art alive and well. My love of drawing sailed right along with having a family, as I would learn to draw quickly to match 2 boy's attention spans. This quickness vs realism has been my style through the years. Colorful expressive action has been my joy. I remember holding my first newborn on my knees, gazing into his eyes, saying that I would always be an artist, never having to leave them and that I would never have to retire. Always being an artist held true but becoming a working mom did happen, limiting my art to sketchbooks full of small children. Now they are grown. Discovering Fine Art America has given me a venue to show my work, created during years of coordinating...
